I really enjoyed your balance of suspense and intrigue whilst offering small moments of realisation compelling enough to want to read more.

Mate, kind of you. Thanks for taking the time to read this story. Those 'small moments of realisation' is actually something I was working on, so I'm pleased. I hope your trip is going well :)

Another great one. I kept trying to figure out who the couple was, and whether or not the inspiration for the God character was me. Perhaps that says more about me than the story. Perhaps I am the inspiration, perhaps the character wasn't god, perhaps I am god?

You were the inspiration for a character I had to cut. His name was Happy. Every time Gertrudinal baked cookies he would sneak in and eat them, but the joy of eating cookies proved too great so he would start screaming Happy! Happy! Happy! and be caught. Ultimately, this character served no purpose.
